Cilantro-Jalapeno Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can low sodium garbanzo beans rinsed and drained, skins removed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons tahini
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 4 Tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup packed cilantro leaves chopped
  • 1/2 fresh jalapeno minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients in a mini food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. If doubling the recipe, use full sized food processor. Blend beans through cumin until well combined, but still chunky. Stream in olive oil and continue to blend until smooth. Serve with veggies, chips or crackers.
