- In a 12 inch oven safe skillet, add the butter. Once melted, add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until cooked and majority of liquid has evaporated, about 7-8 minutes. Using a spatula, distribute apples evenly in pan. Pour batter over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes,
Notes
To make this dairy free, just use a dairy free butter and whipped coconut cream. Do a quick google search for making this at home- all you need is a can of full fat coconut milk, sugar and beaters.
