Avocado Goat Cheese Toast with Berries {Two Ways}

Avocado Goat Cheese Toast with Berries is a combo bursting with flavor. It’s zesty, sweet, creamy all in one package!

Avocado toast is one of my favorite inventions of the past couple years and avocado goat cheese toast is just a no-brainer. I have learned that SO many things go well with it.

And since I had access to so many wonderful ingredients at the Foodie Bootcamp, a workshop where we cranked out blogging content, I got to play around with some combos and boy were they yummy!

For this first toast, I simply added avocado, goat cheese, berries, pomegranates, some peppercorns and a drizzle of honey.

You can use any toast you like, but I prefer a hearty whole grain. So much great texture and flavors going on here!

And you’re getting a big boost of fiber from the whole grain bread, berries and avocado so it’s a delicious and filling way to start your day.

Then I did a very similar one but with just the avocado, goat cheese, strawberries and a little basil for a more savory approach, but I still used peppercorns and the drizzle of honey.

Listen, if you do not use peppercorns, grab yourself a big container and enjoy them on everything. They are my new obsession!

I could eat this everyday! And I had such a blast photographing beautiful food in beautiful light that I might have to move houses OR rent a studio because it’s a game changer!

Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Berries

Ingredients
  • 1 ounce goat cheese
  • ¼ of avocado, sliced
  • ¼ cup berries
  • 1½ tablespoons of pomegranates
  • 1 teaspoon of peppercorns
  • drizzle of honey
  • Toast 2:
  • 1 ounce goat cheese
  • ¼ avocado
  • 2 strawberries
  • a couple basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns
  • drizzle of honey
Instructions
  1. Toast one: fan out avocado, spread goat cheese on remainder of toast. Top with berries (strawberries, blackberries and raspberries), sprinkle with pomegranates and top with peppercorns and a drizzle of honey.
  2. Toast two: fan out avocado, spread goat cheese on remainder of toast. Top with strawberries, peppercorns, fresh basil and a drizzle of honey.
