Do you ever watch the show Chopped? I went into labor with my third child watching that show. My weekly CSA is much like opening the mystery basket. I don't pay much attention to the emails they send of what's being delivered so it's always a fun surprise. I like to challenge myself to come up with a dinner using something out of the CSA box. As magical as pregnancy can be, I am just about ready for this one to be over- 38 weeks, tired, uncomfortable and in need of a good workout (and a good glass of wine!). Toasted pita bread and hummus reminds me of my college roommate and friend-turned sister-in-law (how fun is that?). She used to eat it often and it became one of our quick lunches in between classes. Hi friends! I just wanted to post a quick update on my pregnancy since I have been a bad blogger since the morning sickness hit. I am 11 weeks and feeling better each day, nausea is a lot better but not completely gone. I got to see the little nugget for the first time this week which always makes me giddy. Chicken salad is so personal- everyone makes their own favorite version. I have never loved a heavy-mayo based chicken salad until I had one at a wedding shower a long, long ago- it was made with fresh tarragon, celery and some other basic ingredients.
