The Best of 2011

January 3, 2012 by Melanie Leave a Comment

I always hate to see Christmas time end, but it’s nice to get back to our routines and set some goals for the new year. I look forward to another great year of blogging, cooking and sharing nutritious eats! As always, I appreciate you all being a little part of this blog. I thought I’d conclude 2011 with the top 5 most viewed posts from the year….followed by my favorite 5 recipes.

So without further ado, the top 5 viewed posts.

Mom’s Simple Chicken Tortilla Soup

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Balls

Crockpot Chicken Chili

Overnight Steel Cut Oats

Black Bean Burgers

It was hard to narrow it down, but these are some of the recipes I like for easy of preparation, healthfulness and of course taste (and 4 out of the 5 happen to be vegetarian and/or vegan).

Seven Layer Hummus Dip

Turkey Lettuce-Wrap Tacos

Creamy Tomato Soup

Spicy Lime-Cilantro Slaw

Hummus & Avocado Veggie Sandwich

Cheers to a fabulous New Year! Hope it’s full of good health, lots of cooking, laughter and good food!
